Product Overview

34/1000 Box Profile 0.5 Thick PVC Plastisol Coated Roof Sheet

34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheets 0.5mm thick with a PVC plastisol coating provide a strong and reliable roofing solution for agricultural, industrial and domestic buildings. Manufactured from high quality steel, these sheets are designed to offer excellent durability, weather resistance and long-term performance in demanding environments.

The 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheet is one of the most commonly used steel roofing sheets in the UK due to its strength, practicality and ease of installation. The structured box profile increases rigidity across the sheet while helping rainwater run off the roof effectively. This makes the sheets suitable for garages, workshops, warehouses, agricultural buildings and general roofing installations.

Because the 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheet combines strength with relatively lightweight construction, it is widely used by roofing contractors, builders and installers who require dependable steel roofing materials that can perform in both small and large scale projects.

Applications for 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheets

The 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheet is suitable for a wide range of roofing and cladding applications. The profile design improves structural performance while allowing the sheet to span roof purlins effectively. This makes it a popular choice for commercial, agricultural and domestic roofing installations.

Common uses for 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheets include:

  • Garages and carports
  • Agricultural barns and livestock buildings
  • Industrial units and warehouses
  • Workshops and storage buildings
  • Garden buildings and domestic outbuildings

The versatility of the 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheet means it can also be used as a wall cladding solution where a strong and weather resistant steel panel is required.

Durable PVC Plastisol Coating

The PVC plastisol coating applied to each 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheet provides an additional protective layer that helps prevent corrosion and protects the steel from harsh weather conditions. Plastisol coated steel roofing sheets are designed to withstand exposure to rain, wind and temperature changes while maintaining their protective finish.

This coating also gives the sheet a clean and professional appearance, making the 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheet suitable for both functional and visually finished roofing projects. The coating helps extend the lifespan of the steel sheet while reducing maintenance requirements over time.

Strong 0.5mm Steel Roofing Sheet

The 0.5mm thickness offers an excellent balance between strength and workability. A 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheet with a 0.5mm steel core provides improved rigidity compared with thinner sheets, making it suitable for larger roofing areas and buildings where additional strength may be required.

This makes the sheet a reliable choice for contractors and installers who require a roofing sheet that can withstand regular environmental exposure while maintaining its structural integrity.

Whether you are installing a new roof or replacing existing steel sheets, the 34/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheet provides a dependable roofing material suitable for a wide range of construction and renovation projects.

How to Calculate Square Metres

Working out the total square metreage of your roof will require measuring the total
width of the roof’s area as well as the distance from the eaves (the lowest point)
to the apex (the highest point). This should be undertaken carefully and safely.

We recommend taking these measurements from the inside of your building for safety
purposes. Multiply the two measurements together to give the total square metreage
of the roof.

For apex, or dual-sided roofs, you will need to work out the square metreage of each
side of the roof and add the numbers together for the total coverage.
